In this project, we embraced the minimalist style to create a serene and sophisticated home for a young couple who cherishes the finer aspects of life. Our aim was to craft a space that reflects their love for simplicity and quality, while also being a practical, comfortable haven.
Our design philosophy for this project was to maximize comfort while minimizing clutter, creating a clean and tranquil environment that resonates with the couple's lifestyle.
BOLD MATERIAL CHOICES
We carefully selected materials that elevate the quality of finishes. Our choices were guided by the principle of ‘less is more’, ensuring that each element in the home had both a functional and aesthetic purpose.
MINIMALIST CONTRAST
To highlight the minimalist design, we used stark contrasts in color and texture. This approach not only defined the space but also added depth and character.
UNCONVENTIONAL LIGHTING
The lighting design, especially the track lights, was unconventional yet functional, adding a unique visual element to the space while maintaining the minimalist ethos.
REDESIGNED ROOM ENTRY
In a bold move, we reconfigured the room entry by converting one of the bedrooms into a full wardrobe. This innovative approach allowed for a more efficient use of space and a seamless flow in the home.
EXTENDED BATHROOM INTO WALK-IN WARDROBE
We extended the bathroom into the walk-in wardrobe, creating a luxurious, spa-like experience. This design choice speaks to the couple’s desire for an elegant yet practical living space.
STRATEGICALLY PLACED DRESSER
The placement of the dresser was carefully considered to allow the couple to stay connected during their daily routines. It’s positioned in a way that facilitates interaction and closeness, whether they’re preparing for the day or unwinding after work.
OUTCOME
The result is a space that epitomizes minimalist elegance, offering the couple a retreat that is both aesthetically pleasing and deeply functional. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to creating spaces that are not just houses, but homes that reflect the personalities and lifestyles of their occupants.
